Blow-Dry Boot Camp Tips
Many of you were unable to make our Free Blow-Dry Boot Camp. We hope to schedule another one soon. In the mean time, we hope you find these tips useful:
- Before blow drying wet hair:
- Towel dry your hair thoroughly
- Distribute product evenly throughout your hair
- Comb product from roots to ends to saturate hair
- When working with wet hair:
- First, blow dry it 80 percent
- Next, take only 1/2 inch hair sections into your brush
- Use a hair-dryer nozzle to:
- Dry only the section on which you are working
- Control heat in order to prevent burning your hair
- Point your dryer in the direction you are brushing
- Use the cold button to get:
- Lift at the top
- Curl at the bottom
- Note that the Cold button functions as follows:
- First, it releases a blast of hot air to mold the hair
- Next, it release cold air to hold the hair in place
- If your hair dryer does not have a Cold button, switch the heat setting to 0 or 1 to cool it down
