Happy New Year!
I love January and the collective optimism it inspires. That positive force of change for the better is always in full force at William Roberts Color Group & Salon, as we continuously strive to give you the perfect salon experience. In this inaugural issue of the 2009 eNews, we share how we work to meet your high standards (online surveys, free educational events, and special referral rewards) and spotlight a staff member, who exemplifies the professionalism you've come to expect at the salon:
Online Survey Results
 A big Thank You to everyone who took our online survey! We entered all your email addresses into our drawing and lucky lady Cindy Ross won a free glaze shine & blow-dry style service (see glaze-shine model at right). However, we all win when you share your feelings about the William Roberts Color Group & Salon experience, because we listen and respond accordingly. At first glance, the results are overwhelmingly positive. We are still compiling the data and will keep you well informed of how we plan to address any concerns or suggestions you shared. Staff Spotlight — Sonya Alliette
 This month shines the spotlight on Sonya Alliette. A staff member since 2006, Sonya has the sunny personality and beauty know-how to deliver a first-rate salon experience. What else would you expect from someone who took night classes to graduate high school a year early to jump-start her beauty career? After graduating from Continental Beauty Academy, Sonya came directly to William Roberts Color Group & Salon. Starting as a part-time coordinator, Sonya's enthusiasm and perserverance quickly propelled her to full-time Stylist. Proving she can tackle any hair challenge with grace, see how Sonya confronted the Mullet — the dreaded haircut we all thought went the way of big-shoulder pads and Flash Dance inspired leg warmers. Free Blow-Dry Boot Camp — January 27, 2009 — 6:30 to 8:00 PM
 No heavy-lifting required so leave the gym bag at home, as well as your credit card, because this event is FREE! But do bring your own blow dryer & brush for hands-on training from Sonya (Staff Spotlight above), Kristine & Jenny, who will help you whip your tresses into salon-perfect shape. Learn pro tricks like how to:
- Apply styling products for fantastic results
- Work with difficult bangs
- Straighten hair on the back of your head
- Brush wet hair without damaging it

 A client referral is the ultimate compliment! To say thank you, we always automatically add a $10 discount to your next salon service, after your referral enjoys their first service.
